If I am certain I was bitten or my children were, my immediate homeopathic remedy is Ledum Palustre 200. It is not only a preventative medicine, but a corrective one as well. It is taken approximately every 3 hours for the first day, then one dose twice daily for a week. After that, twice weekly for a month, and then reduced to one dose a week for another month.
Contact your health care provider of choice right away if rash develops.
